The Shree Jagannath Temple administration has obtained trademark protection for the terms “Ananda Bajara” and “Patitapabana”, along with logo registration for the sacred Neelachakra symbol.


Trademark Registrations Secured

1. Wordmarks

• Patitapabana – meaning “Saviour of the Fallen.”

• Ananda Bajara – the sacred marketplace where Mahaprasad is distributed

within the temple complex.


2. Logomark

• Neelachakra – the iconic eight-spoked metallic wheel mounted atop the

temple’s main spire.


About Shree Jagannath Temple

• Located in Puri, Odisha.

• Popularly known as the “White Pagoda.”

• One of the most revered pilgrimage centres of Hinduism and an important part

of the Char Dham Yatra.

• Built in the Kalinga style of architecture, a prominent regional variant of the

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner

Alliance for Human Rights (GHRA) as a long-term initiative ahead of the 80th

anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 2028.
