Autoimmune Blistering Diseases (AIBDs)
News:
Researchers from Panjabi University and PGIMER, Chandigarh have developed Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools to improve the diagnosis of Autoimmune Blistering Diseases (AIBDs).
What are AIBDs?
• Autoimmune Blistering Diseases (AIBDs), also known as autoimmune bullous
disorders, are a group of rare autoimmune skin diseases.
• These conditions occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy

• Genital mucosa
• Damage to these tissues leads to painful blisters and erosions.
