News:

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) recently celebrated the 16th Raising Day of

Project BRAHMANK, reaffirming its role in strengthening strategic road

connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh.


About Project BRAHMANK


Project BRAHMANK is one of the key infrastructure projects of the Border

Roads Organisation (BRO).


It was raised on 29 June 2011 at Ranaghat, East Siang district, Arunachal

Pradesh.

The project became fully operational on 3 December 2011.


It is responsible for the construction, upgradation, and maintenance of

strategic road infrastructure in:


Siang district


East Siang district


West Siang district


Upper Siang district


Shi Yomi district


Parts of Dhemaji district (Assam)


Objectives

Develop and maintain strategic border road infrastructure.

Enhance operational mobility of the Indian Armed Forces.

Improve connectivity for remote border villages.

News:

The Government of India has launched Ayushman Sarathi, the official WhatsApp

chatbot for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-

JAY), making healthcare services more accessible through a digital platform.


About Ayushman Sarathi


Ayushman Sarathi is the official WhatsApp-based chatbot that enables

beneficiaries to access key services under AB PM-JAY.

It has been developed by the National Health Authority (NHA).

The chatbot is integrated with PM-JAY systems through secure API-based

architecture.


It provides real-time information and allows users to avail services directly

within the WhatsApp interface.


Offers 24×7 access to PM-JAY services, reducing the need for physical visits to

healthcare facilities.

Check eligibility under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.


Apply for and download the Ayushman Card.


Complete eKYC verification.


Link Aadhaar with the PM-JAY account.


Lock or unlock the Ayushman Card.


Access scheme-related information and beneficiary support.


Significance

Promotes digital healthcare governance through a user-friendly platform.

Improves accessibility of healthcare services, especially in remote areas.

Enhances transparency and efficiency in delivering PM-JAY benefits.

Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple


News:


The Prime Minister of India recently visited the Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple during his official visit to Seychelles, highlighting the strong cultural and civilizational ties between India and the island nation.


About Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple

The Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple is a prominent Hindu temple

located in Victoria, the capital city of Seychelles.


It is the only Hindu temple in Seychelles.


The temple was built in 1992 by the Hindu community, which constitutes

around 2% of the country’s population.


It is dedicated to Lord Vinayagar (Lord Ganesha).


The temple is situated in the heart of Victoria on Mahé Island.


Architecture

The temple is built in the Dravidian style of architecture, similar to the famous

temples of Tamil Nadu.


Its most striking feature is the colourful gopuram (entrance tower), rising to

nearly 100 feet.


The gopuram is richly decorated with intricately carved statues of Hindu

deities, goddesses, and mythological figures.


The temple showcases vibrant South Indian temple architecture and traditional

craftsmanship.


Significance

Serves as the cultural and religious centre of the Hindu community in Seychelles.
